SimplyHome CEO Allen Ray and Brian Keefer, star of an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, will present "Empowering Independence: How Technology Creates New Outcomes" at the 2017 PAR Conference. Their presentation will take place on Monday, October 23, from 1:15-2:15pm.

Brian Keefer, 29-year-old Pennsylvanian and star of an episode of TLC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, thinks of his goal to walk again every day. In 2008 Brian was a star athlete and college sophomore when he had a gymnastics accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

Brian will offer insights and inspiration on how he utilizes enabling technology that continues to change his life. Brian’s story and many others like his explain why technology must be a fundamental component toward supporting a person-centered life.
