In June 2011, SimplyHome was approached by Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to appear on the fathers day episode. When SimplyHome was contacted by EHME to provide a solution to a problem, we jumped into action. "Our assessment with Brian and his family helped us to grasp the personal and family challenges," explained Allen Ray, CEO, SimplyHome. "Brian and his dad expressed hope that technology would create some independence for both of them."

The Keefer Family / SimplyHome Connection

As a result, SimplyHome implemented and customized different forms of technology to enable Brian to become more independent when it came to the activities of daily living.

"Along with our SimplyHome system, we installed customized technology to greatly increase Brian's independence," said Ray.

To sum it up, Paul DiMeo (Paulie), designer and co-star of EMHE, had this to say: "Without SimplyHome we would have just built the Keefer family a bigger house. The technology makes the story."
